Cryptocurrency Trading Volume Surpasses $10 Trillion for the First Time in November
In November, cryptocurrency trading volume soared to an all-time high, with the combined trading volume of digital assets on centralized spot and derivatives exchanges exceeding $10 trillion for the first time.
According to data compiled by CCData, the total trading volume last month doubled. The cryptocurrency market surged amid optimism that the newly elected Trump administration would offer a more favorable regulatory environment for the industry. Bitcoin, seen as a key market indicator, jumped 38%, reaching a historic high of nearly $100,000.
“This sentiment was clearly reflected in the increased demand for assets such as Ripple, which has historically faced stricter regulatory scrutiny,” said Jacob Joseph, Senior Research Analyst at CCData. “Institutional optimism is also evident, with CME trading volume rising significantly over the past month and substantial inflows into spot Bitcoin ETFs.”
